Personal Background

I was born and raised in the United States, but have been living in Hong Kong since 1996. I am happily married to an inspiring wife and feel blessed to have four wonderful children. The photo on the right was taken during a family vacation to Taiwan in 2005.I enjoy living a simple life spending time with family, reading, and listing to music. I’m a big fan of live performance (music, theater, dance). In my college days, I’ve been known to write songs, engage in sports, play board games, scuba dive, and engage in various creative endeavours. I’ve put some of the songs that I’ve written.I’ve written a short essay about how I made the transition from electrical engineering to creativity and consciousness.

I have many friends around the world and enjoy learning from these relationships. I feel very blessed and grateful to be able to do what I do in light of the suffering in the world today.
